Our client is a Tier 1 Contractor with a strong construction portfolio in large infrastructure projects. In light of a recent project win, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee full cycle delivery of sizeable infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full project lifecycle including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports ensure effective cost control and value engineering.
- Establish and monitor detailed project schedules, identifying critical paths and mitigating potential delays.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, consultants, authorities, and internal management, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Enforce compliance with quality assurance procedures, workplace safety standards, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively throughout project delivery.
- Provide timely and accurate progress reports, presenting updates to senior management and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- PEB / Chartered Engineer status] preferred.
- Minimum 12-15 years of construction management experience, with at least 5 years in a project management or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale civil, infrastructure, or structural projects (e.g. roads, bridges, utilities, or mixed-use developments).
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project planning tools (Primavera, MS Project), and contract administration (FIDIC / PSSCOC).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
