Job Summary
You will lead the planning, organization, and execution of project sites to deliver projects that meet cost, quality, timeline, and customer satisfaction goals. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, project teams, and authorities to ensure seamless project progress and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and approve project objectives in collaboration with the Director to align with strategic goals
- Execute projects to meet defined specifications, budgets, and schedules, ensuring timely delivery
- Coordinate cross-departmental activities to resolve project-related issues and maintain workflow efficiency
- Liaise with clients, engineers, and their representatives to address project concerns and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- Assess training needs of project staff and organize targeted training sessions, including on-site instruction, to enhance team capabilities
- Review and evaluate material and subcontractor quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with project requirements
- Approve material requisitions within authorized limits to maintain project procurement control
- Analyze and approve project variations and claim submissions to manage scope changes and financial impacts
- Oversee preparation and approval of all quality system documentation, including Project Management Plans, Quality Plans, method statements, work procedures, and inspection & test plans
- Chair Project Quality System Review meetings to monitor compliance and continuous improvement
- Assign responsibilities for document control, inspection and test equipment management, and temporary works design and construction oversight
- Enforce adherence to the highest Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and Quality standards throughout project activities
- Negotiate pricing, special conditions, and contract addenda with subcontractors, including nominated subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with the Director to finalize accounts with subcontractors and clients, ensuring accurate financial reconciliation
- Ensure all required bonds, warranties, and guarantees are obtained, submitted, and retained in accordance with contract requirements
- Review and approve subcontractors interim payment certificates based on verified work completion
