Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in the Metal Sheet Department. The role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning, design, and fabrication to installation ensuring high-quality delivery, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction. The Senior Project Manager will also mentor junior staff and drive process improvements within the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple metal sheet projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Review and approve technical drawings, material specifications, and fabrication/installation methods.
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, risk management, and budget tracking.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure all work meets safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.
- Identify potential issues, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers, engineers, and coordinators.
- Prepare project progress reports and present updates to senior management.
- Continuously improve departmental processes, workflows, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience in metal works, faade, cladding, or construction, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of metal sheet fabrication, welding, and installation.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale or complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- Valid Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
