Senior Project Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, resources, costs, dependencies and deliverables.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, actuals, vendor spend and variances; drive timely corrective actions.
• Track progress through RAG status, RAID logs, dashboards, governance reviews and executive reporting.
• Lead migration planning across testing, readiness, cutover, reconciliation, go/no-go and hypercare.
• Coordinate Finance, Technology, Operations, Infrastructure and vendor teams; escalate risks and decisions.
MUST-HAVE / MANDATORY SKILLS
- 10- 12 years of project management experience, including complex banking or financial services programme, strong background in Banking Sector.
- Proven ownership of project budgets, forecasts, actual spend, resource costs and financial governance.
- Hands-on delivery of large-scale application, platform, data or technology migration programmes.
- Strong project planning, milestone tracking, RAID, dependency, change and release management.
- Experience managing migration readiness, test coordination, cutover, reconciliation and stabilization.
- Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile / Waterfall delivery methods.
- Strong executive stakeholder management, governance reporting and cross-functional team leadership.
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Bank Finance / CFO technology experience.
- Exposure to financial reporting, regulatory change or Finance transformation.
- Legacy modernization, data platform or cloud migration experience.
- Experience working with global and geographically distributed banking teams.
- Vendor, commercial and third-party delivery management experience.
- PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Scrum or equivalent certification.
