We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee our construction projects. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Director and be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of project(s) within scope, budget, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Director and provide regular project updates.
- Lead and manage project execution, monitor site progress, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Prepare and update the Master Programme, identify critical paths, and devise recovery programmes when necessary.
- Lead and mentor the project team to ensure site activities comply with specifications, budget, and timelines.
- Plan and coordinate all construction sequences, operations, and intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
- Liaise and coordinate with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to ensure smooth progress.
- Oversee resources planning (manpower, equipment, and materials) with strict adherence to budgetary controls.
- Prepare progress reports, track costs, and present updates to stakeholders through meetings.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with safety regulations, the latest WSH Act, and approved drawings/specifications.
- Manage and enforce OHS compliance, promptly reporting and addressing any incidents.
- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverables for team members.
- Obtain permits and licenses from relevant authorities as required.
- Oversee and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering (recognized by PE Board/BCA is preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant managerial experience in a similar role in construction experience in main contractor projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment.
- Proven leadership, conflict resolution, and project management skills.
- A team player who is independent, meticulous, diligent, and well-organized.
- Positive work attitude with strong commitment to quality, safety, and project delivery.
