Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of complex pharmaceutical engineering, procurement, construction, and management (EPCM) projects. Reporting to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for project delivery ensuring strict adherence to schedules, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory frameworks (GMP, FDA, EMA).

Key Responsibilities

Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee full EPCM project execution from detailed planning and risk management to budget control and operational handover in compliance with GMP guidelines.
Engineering & Procurement Oversight: Review technical designs, manage procurement cycles, negotiate vendor contracts, and track long-lead equipment deliveries to mitigate schedule risks.
Construction & Validation Coordination: Supervise site construction, manage safety and quality compliance, and coordinate testing, commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) phases.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary client interface, leading milestone reviews, managing scope changes, and ensuring alignment with all internal and external partners.
Team Leadership & Reporting: Direct cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction), monitor project KPIs, and deliver regular progress reports to executive stakeholders.

Requirements

Education & Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related discipline (PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly advantageous).
Professional Experience: 7+ years of proven project management experience leading pharmaceutical EPCM or cleanroom/pharma construction projects.
Regulatory Expertise: In-depth technical knowledge of GMP, FDA, EMA standards, validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), and local Singapore building regulations.
Software Mastery: Proficient with project controls software including Primavera P6, MS Project, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
