We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Director (Electrical) to provide strategic, commercial and operational leadership for major electrical projects in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Lead major electrical projects: Provide strategic and operational leadership across large-scale electrical and multidisciplinary projects, overseeing the complete lifecycle from planning and design through construction, commissioning and final handover.
Drive commercial and project performance: Manage project budgets, profitability, cost forecasts, contracts, variations, claims and commercial risks while ensuring projects achieve agreed financial and delivery objectives.
Manage clients, governance and compliance: Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities while ensuring stringent quality, EHS, governance and regulatory requirements are maintained.
Lead teams and optimise resources: Manage and mentor Project Managers and engineering leaders, oversee resource allocation and vendor partnerships, and drive continuous improvement through effective processes and digital project-management tools.

Skills / Experience Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline relevant professional engineering accreditation/status is advantageous.
At least 10 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project delivery, preferably involving mission-critical, utility, industrial, airport or other large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong electrical engineering expertise with demonstrated experience reviewing electrical designs, vendor submissions and technical drawings.
Strong commercial and project management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, contract management, risk management, variations and claims.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables within demanding project schedules.
