About Us
We are a fast-growing bored piling construction company in Singapore, currently building a team of high-calibre professionals to deliver major infrastructure and foundation projects. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager who is ready to take ownership, drive execution, and grow with the company. This role offers a clear progression path to Project Director for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Technical Oversight
- Manage full project lifecycle for bored piling works, from tender stage to project completion. Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Ensure full compliance with BCA, LTA, PUB, and other relevant regulatory and safety requirements.
- Review engineering designs, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
2. Startup Operations & Process Setup
- Establish operational workflows, site procedures, and best practices for project execution.
- Lead procurement planning, vendor onboarding, and initial project setup.
- Develop project reporting systems, quality assurance frameworks, and cost control mechanisms.
3. Team Management & Leadership
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
- Cultivate a safety-conscious and high-performance team culture.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Prepare and present progress reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with government agencies to facilitate permit approvals and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore, or accreditation as a Professional Project Manager (PPM) by the Singapore Project Management Institute (SPM).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, with strong knowledge in bored piling or deep foundation works.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building regulations.
- Proven familiarity with Singapore's construction and regulatory environment.
- Excellent project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and execution skills.
- Experience in setting up construction operations or startups will be an advantage.
