SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Requirements:

1. A degree in civil engineering from recognized universities is required by the professional engineer's board.
2. Minimum of 10-12 years experience in building civil projects with the main contractor in construction projects in Singapore.
3. Proficient in project construction management.
4. Shall be well versed in different levels of government agencies and construction regulations.

Job Description:

1. Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of the projects.
2. Monitoring of site activities, material requisition, cost control, project supervision, and schedule of works.
3. Assist and support the project manager in handling and monitoring the progress of the project.
4. Responsible for awarding delivery orders and preparing contract-related documents.
5. Responsible for preparing and issuing subcontractor inquiries and the assessment of quotations upon receipt.
6. Maintain contract documentation and provide advice on pre-tender and post-contract matters.
7. Responsible for handling cost engineering functions involving budget preparation, cost control, forecasting, and cost reporting.
8. Practical experience in the related field of building construction projects.
