Responsibilities:
- Oversee execution and progress of assigned contracts to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Monitor site installation works and coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Track project progress and prepare regular updates for the Project Manager.
- Supervise site works to ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Prepare and review method statements, shop drawings, installation and testing & commissioning (T&C) check sheets, and progress reports for M&E works.
- Coordinate preparation, submission, and approval of shop drawings and technical documents with consultants and relevant authorities.
- Prepare and manage technical submissions with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Support procurement and cost control of materials, equipment, and labour within the approved budget.
- Participate in technical discussions to resolve design, site, and coordination issues.
- Liaise with authorities, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
- Proven experience supporting Project Managers in managing and monitoring project progress.
- Mechanical knowledge of VAV, VRV, cooling towers, chillers, chilled water piping, and addition & alteration (A&A) works is an added advantage.
- Electrical knowledge of retrofit and renovation works, lighting control systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS) is an added advantage.
- Experience working on data centre projects is an added advantage.
