Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, handover, and defect resolution
- Control the project budget, monitor cash flow, submit progress claims, and review subcontractor invoices to ensure financial sustainability and profit margins
- Oversee subcontractor performance, ensure adherence to the project schedule, and implement corrective actions for any deviations
- Maintain strict control of all project documentation, including non-conformances and corrective action reports
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and statutory authorities to resolve issues, secure approvals, and negotiate variations
- Lead, assign, and mentor on-site project staff (Engineers, Supervisors) and provide necessary on-job training
- Manage all project resources (labour, materials, equipment)
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
- 3 years of direct project management experience, specifically in electrical building
- Able to read and interpret technical information, including electrical drawings and schematics
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with the proven ability to work independently and solve problems effectively
