SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage building construction projects from planning to completion
• Oversee site operations, ensuring work is executed according to design, specifications, and schedule
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Review engineering drawings, technical documents, and method statements
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource allocation
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes
• Identify and resolve technical issues, design conflicts, and site challenges
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site staff
• Conduct site inspections, progress reporting, and stakeholder updates
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment
• Support contract administration, including variations and claims
• Implement risk management and cost control strategies
• Ensure timely project delivery within budget and scope

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building & Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
