Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications.
Establish and implement controls to ensure that works are carried out safely according to the works programme.
Oversee the construction activities and progress, including planning, implementation, and monitoring work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work program.
Ensure that all corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively and that quality records are properly maintained.
Coordinate with all parties and support site construction progress.
Monitor and control progress to ensure that turnover and cost are in line with the master construction program.
Be responsible for the planning and scheduling of time for the project in charge.
Assist in planning, programming, and monitoring the progress of construction works.
Liaise with the client's representative, relevant authorities, and consultants.
Identify and assess any foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes, and minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
At least 5 years relevant experience with good experience in infrastructure projects
Able to lead and work independently.
Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
Strong business acumen with strong analytical skills
Strong communication, negotiation and planning skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
