Job Scope
- Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land
- Apply the necessary customs permits
- Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore
- Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents
- Attending to site meetings, surveys & loadouts as and when required
- Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment
- Update and operate the Operations System (BLU)
- Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project
- Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents
- Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate
- Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager
Requirement
- Diploma in Business Administration / Logistics management or equivalent
- 2 - 4 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry
