Utilize company cornerstone systems to manage and represent cost data formats necessary for project control and financial reporting.
Analyze financial data and earned value metrics to identify key project issues, prepare revised cost forecasts, and assess progress trends and cost impacts.
Evaluate manpower, labor hours, and labor costs against budget limitations prepare variance analysis and expenditure forecasts to identify critical funding points.
Review and track purchase order, subcontract commitments, and contractor invoices to ensure subcontractor funding aligns with work authorization and expenditures.
Establish and maintain cost/schedule baselines using project drawings and specifications apply critical path analysis and cost/schedule integration concepts.
Manage scope control and change order tracking to ensure project management maintains awareness of detailed change status and financial implications.
Conduct performance measurement, cost trending, and prepare various levels of project reporting and cost review meeting presentations.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years experience in project controls
Skilled in verbal and written communication.
Advanced knowledge of engineering, procurement contracts, construction, and startup work processes.
Knowledge of engineering and construction management customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present schedule products independently with minimal supervision, including using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design, construction and procurement practices.
