Senior / Program Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and execution plans for precision engineering programs.

• Work closely with NPI, production, and quality assurance teams to achieve defined project goals and deliverables.

• Track project execution and proactively address technical issues and operational challenges as they arise.

• Apply technical knowledge in precision engineering processes such as CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology.

• Supervise prototype development activities and ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability.

• Perform feasibility analysis and risk evaluations for high-precision components and systems.

• Ensure compliance with stringent quality requirements and tight tolerance standards typical in precision engineering.

• Coordinate inspection, validation, and testing activities for parts and assembled systems.

• Serve as the main liaison for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on technical and project-related updates.

• Prepare and deliver progress updates, technical reports, and risk assessments to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3-5 years of experience in project or program engineering within precision engineering or manufacturing environments.

• Practical experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM tools, and precision measurement equipment is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes, materials, and applications.

• Proficiency in engineering design software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Solid project management experience, including use of tools such as MS Project.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support cross-functional collaboration.

• Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.

• Experience managing customer relationships in industries such as semiconductors, aerospace, medical devices, or analytical life sciences.

• Exposure to advanced manufacturing technologies, including additive manufacturing and laser-based processes, is a plus.
