A Senior Production Technician is responsible for overseeing and supporting manufacturing or production operations, ensuring equipment runs efficiently, production targets are met, and quality standards are maintained. The role usually includes technical troubleshooting, supervising junior technicians, and improving production processes.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment and machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during production.
  • Ensure production processes meet quality, safety standards.
  • Lead or guide junior technicians on technical tasks.
  • Troubleshoot on assemblies issues.
  • Monitor production output, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies.
  • Support implementation of new equipment, technologies, or production processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing engineer and procurement.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics/Electrical, or a related technical field.
  • Hands on experience on mechanical and electrical/electronics assembly.
  • Experience on using Hands tools. Soldering and crimpling
  • 5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of production equipment, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with quality control systems and safety standards.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, electrical /electronic schematic diagrams.
  • Leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Basic computer skills (production systems, reporting tools, MS Office).
  • Knowledge in Linux based OS(Ubuntu) is an advantages
