Job Description

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Vision:
Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with national priorities and public service goals
Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities to enhance public sector digital services
Public Needs and Policy Understanding:
Gather insights from citizens, businesses, and government agencies to inform product development
Understand and incorporate relevant policies, regulations, and national digital strategies into product planning
Cross-Agency Collaboration:
Partner with various government agencies and departments to ensure product requirements are well-understood and meet the needs of stakeholders
Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and effective execution of projects
Product Development and Implementation:
Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on public sector goals and citizen needs
Oversee the product lifecycle from concept through launch and monitor post-launch enhancements and optimizations
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Set clear metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance and public impact
Ensure transparency and accountability by reporting on product progress and outcomes to stakeholders
Leadership and Public Service Values:
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and project teams, promoting public service values
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team oriented towards public service excellence

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Extensive experience in product management or a related field, with a focus on public sector or government projects preferred

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with government officials and stakeholders
Proficiency in using product management and analytics tools, and familiarity with government digital platforms

Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills to work across different government agencies and departments
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute initiatives that align with public policy and national goals
Demonstrated commitment to public service values and delivering impactful citizen-centered services
