The Role
We are looking for a Product Manager to own and scale the firm's eKYC and KYB capabilities. This role sits at the heart of customer onboarding and compliance, combining product thinking, regulatory understanding, and technical execution. You will shape how businesses and individuals are verified, assessed, and monitored, while balancing user experience, risk controls, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Lead the full lifecycle of eKYC and KYB products, from initial onboarding journeys to verification, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Build and maintain the product roadmap, weighing regulatory obligations, customer experience, cost considerations, and long-term scalability.
- Convert regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements into clear product definitions and actionable specifications for engineering teams.
- Work closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and banking partners to ensure alignment with AML, CDD, EDD, and local regulatory expectations.
- Track and respond to regulatory developments across different markets, assessing product impact and driving timely enhancements.
- Partner with Engineering to design modular, API-first KYC solutions that integrate seamlessly with external vendors such as identity verification, sanctions screening, and fraud providers.
- Use data to improve onboarding outcomes by analysing drop-offs, approval and rejection rates, false positives, and manual review volumes.
- Act as the main internal point of contact for all KYC-related product topics, supporting commercial, solutions, and client-facing teams during onboarding and integrations.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is strongly preferred.
- Around 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within fintech, payments, banking, regtech, or compliance-led environments.
- Hands-on exposure to KYC, KYB, AML, onboarding, or risk and compliance products.
- Experience working with third-party KYC, identity verification, sanctions screening, or fraud tooling is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and move quickly in a fast-paced setup.
- A builder mindset, with enthusiasm for taking products from concept to production in early-stage or 0-to-1 environments.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, as you will collaborate closely with China-based vendors and partners.
