Role Overview
This is a hands-on Product role focused on delivering payment capabilities across card issuing, cross-border payments, and FX flows.
The role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, operations, compliance, and external partners. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of payment solutions, from integration and implementation through to optimisation in live environments.
This is not a purely strategic role. It requires someone who understands how payment systems work in practice and can execute across both product and operational layers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Drive end-to-end delivery of payment products across card issuing, cross-border payments, and multi-currency flows
- Work with engineering teams to define and implement APIs, integrations, and payment system behaviour
- Manage integrations with banks, processors, payment networks, PSPs, and cross-border partners
- Support FX-related flows including currency conversion, rate handling, and settlement processes
- Coordinate onboarding and implementation of external partners across different markets
- Translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into clear product documentation and delivery plans
- Monitor and improve transaction success rates, cost efficiency, and operational performance
- Troubleshoot payment and integration issues in live environments
- Work closely with compliance and operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across regions and use cases
What We're Looking For
- Experience in payments, fintech, or financial services
- Hands-on experience in either card issuing, cross-border payments, or multi-currency and FX systems
- Strong understanding of how payment systems work end-to-end including flows, settlement, and integrations
- Experience working with APIs and external payment partners such as banks, processors, or PSPs
- Comfortable operating in a regulated environment
- Proven ability to deliver product or implementation projects from start to finish
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment
Preferred
- Experience across both card issuing and cross-border payment systems
- Exposure to FX flows, liquidity providers, or treasury-related functions
- Experience working with Visa, Mastercard, or global payment providers
- Exposure to multi-country payment rollout
