Job Description
Product Manager – Business Accounts
Singapore | Fintech | B2B Financial Services
The Opportunity
We are representing a rapidly growing, venture-backed fintech operating across international markets. The business is building a next-generation financial operating platform for businesses, bringing together payments, multi-currency accounts, FX, treasury, cards and other financial services into a single platform.
The company has raised significant institutional backing and is entering an important phase of international growth. As part of this expansion, we are looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to take ownership of one of its most strategically important product lines: Business Accounts.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to sit at the intersection of Product, Commercial, Sales and Marketing.
You will not simply be managing a roadmap.
You will be responsible for taking a product to market, driving adoption and directly influencing commercial performance.
The Role
You will own the direction, launch strategy and commercial growth of the Business Accounts proposition.
The product brings together capabilities including:
- Global and multi-currency business accounts
- International payments
- FX and currency conversion
- Yield / treasury products
- Corporate card solutions
- Digital asset / stablecoin capabilities
Your responsibility will be to turn these capabilities into a coherent proposition for business customers and drive adoption across the customer lifecycle.
You will work closely with senior Product leadership, Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Commercial teams.
The successful candidate will become the internal subject-matter expert for the Business Accounts proposition and a key voice in decisions around product direction, positioning, pricing and growth.
What You'll Own
Product & GTM Strategy
- Define the product strategy and roadmap for the Business Accounts proposition.
- Develop positioning, packaging and pricing alongside commercial stakeholders.
- Determine launch sequencing across new products, markets and capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to increase adoption and customer value.
Launch & Commercial Execution
- Own launches from initial planning through to post-launch optimisation.
- Work with Sales and Marketing on messaging, enablement, campaigns, demos and customer communications.
- Build the commercial narrative around the product and ensure teams understand how to sell it.
- Participate directly in customer and prospect conversations.
Activation & Adoption
You will own the customer journey from initial account opening through to meaningful product adoption.
This includes metrics such as:
- Account activation
- Funding
- FX utilisation
- Payments activity
- Card adoption
- Treasury / yield utilisation
- Cross-sell
- Customer retention
- Revenue and transaction volumes
The expectation is that you will define the metrics, understand the underlying behaviour and actively move them.
Sales Partnership
- Join customer and prospect meetings.
- Support complex opportunities and strategic accounts.
- Equip Sales teams with the product narrative and commercial tools they need.
- Identify product friction affecting conversion and work with internal teams to address it.
- Feed market intelligence back into product strategy.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Track competitors, pricing and proposition changes.
- Understand customer requirements across different markets and corridors.
- Analyse market economics and identify emerging opportunities.
- Bring customer and market insight back to senior Product leadership.
Business Performance
This is a commercially accountable product role.
You will be expected to understand and influence metrics such as:
- Accounts opened
- Activation and funding rates
- Customer balances
- FX volumes
- Payment volumes
- Card issuance and usage
- Yield / treasury adoption
- Cross-sell
- Revenue
- Unit economics
What This Role Is Not
This is deliberately not a traditional platform Product Manager role.
You will not own the underlying FX pricing engine, ledger architecture or card-processing infrastructure.
You will partner with the specialist Product Managers responsible for those areas.
You are also not being hired simply as a Product Marketer.
You will work closely with Marketing, but your responsibility is to ensure the product actually performs commercially.
And this is not a backlog-management position.
The focus is on understanding the market, deciding what matters, taking products to market and driving measurable adoption.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who combines genuine Product experience with strong commercial instincts.
You are likely to have experience within a:
- Neobank
- Digital business bank
- B2B fintech
- Payments company
- Treasury platform
- Financial infrastructure business
You will ideally have taken a business banking or financial product from launch through to meaningful commercial scale.
You should be able to talk about business outcomes as comfortably as product roadmaps.
For example:
How many customers did you acquire
What happened to activation
What happened to balances
How did FX volumes change
What happened to revenue
What did you learn from the cohorts
Experience Required
- 6+ years experience across Product, GTM Product or closely related product disciplines.
- At least 3 years within a fintech, digital banking, payments or financial services environment.
- Direct experience with business accounts, multi-currency accounts, payments, FX, cards, treasury, yield or related financial products.
- Demonstrable experience launching and scaling products.
- Strong understanding of commercial product metrics and unit economics.
- Experience operating within a regulated financial environment such as banking, EMI, PSP or equivalent.
- Experience dealing with international markets and cross-border financial complexity.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across Product, Engineering, Sales and Marketing.
Commercial Fluency
You should be comfortable discussing concepts such as:
- FX margins
- Take rates
- Interchange
- Payment economics
- Corridor economics
- Pricing
- Yield economics
- Customer acquisition
- Activation
- Cohort behaviour
- Unit economics
This is an environment where Product Managers are expected to form a point of view, explain why an initiative matters and defend their priorities when challenged.
You should be comfortable moving between:
- Customer conversations
- Sales meetings
- Product discussions
- Engineering teams
- Commercial analysis
- Executive presentations
Your First Few Months
You could expect to be:
- Building the strategy for the next major Business Accounts release.
- Speaking directly with customers and prospects.
- Reviewing the sales pipeline and identifying product friction.
- Working with Marketing on positioning and campaigns.
- Analysing activation and adoption cohorts.
- Reviewing competitor propositions and pricing.
- Working with platform Product Managers to identify the product changes capable of unlocking the next stage of growth.
- Establishing a clear commercial scorecard for the product.
Why This Opportunity
- High ownership of a strategically important fintech product.
- Direct exposure to senior Product and Commercial leadership.
- Opportunity to influence both product strategy and commercial performance.
- International customer and market exposure.
- Significant autonomy.
- Equity participation.
- Strong technology and product environment.
- Opportunity to shape how an established fintech product line scales internationally.
