Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced storyteller with a creative vision and ideas for short-form factual videos. Someone passionate about the challenge of bringing to social platforms the stories that matter - and with a keen instinct for engaging younger international audiences there.
Your job will involve ideating, researching and producing original micro-documentaries. You will also explore ways to creatively turn CNA Insider's rich trove of award-winning current affairs shows into snackable content. As senior producer, you would be expected to help drive the team's efforts and pitch ideas.
You would also be involved in analysing performance metrics and shaping cross-platform engagement strategies collaboratively.
The role offers the potential to develop as a content innovation specialist and/or engagement strategy team lead.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline
- At least 3 years relevant work experience
- Ability to spot what makes a good story - and how to tell it in a concise, engaging, accessible way
- Be immersed in TikTok and Instagram, able to critically analyse trends
- Strong visual flair, with technical competency in filming and video editing. Graphics design knowhow is a plus.
- Interest in current affairs, curiosity about how the world ticks, and the ability to distil complex issues clearly
- Be innovative, nimble and flexible in exploring different approaches
- Ability to host in front of the camera is a bonus
- Must work well in a team and under pressure of tight turnround times.
- Leadership and mentorship ability is a plus
