Job Description

Senior Manager, Clinical Products and Medical Device Focus

The ideal career step for nurses ready to move from bedside to boardroom.

Are you a nurse who's passionate about improving patient outcomes-but ready to step into a strategic role beyond direct care Do you find yourself thinking about product choice, supply reliability, and cost-effectiveness as much as clinical quality If so, this is your opportunity to transition into a high-impact procurement leadership role where your nursing background becomes your greatest asset.

A leading healthcare organisation in Singapore is seeking a Senior Manager for Procurement with a focus on Clinical Products and Medical Device -and we strongly believe the best person for this job has clinical experience first, and procurement training second.

Why this role is different for nurses:

- Leverage what you already know: Your understanding of how products are used in real clinical settings will directly shape smarter sourcing decisions.

- Move from shift work to strategy: Enjoy a stable 5-day work week while influencing product selection, supply continuity, and value-driven decisions across the organisation.

- No prior procurement experience No problem. We're looking for clinical judgement and communication skills. Sourcing exposure is a plus-but we'll teach you the rest.

What you'll do (and why your nursing experience matters here):

- Advise on product specifications, clinical suitability, and usage-because you've seen what works at the bedside.

- Support sourcing and category strategies for healthcare supplies, drawing on your firsthand knowledge of clinical needs.

- Evaluate new products, alternatives, and innovations through a clinical and operational lens.

- Lead product reviews, standardisation, and optimisation initiatives alongside clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

- Partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure product quality, safety, and performance.

- Ensure all procurement activities align with regulatory standards and policies.

- Contribute to cost optimisation, consolidation, and supply continuity-without compromising care.

What you bring:

- Diploma or Degree in Nursing (mandatory)

- Hands-on experience in a healthcare environment (hospital, clinic, or related setting)

- Strong familiarity with medical, surgical, or healthcare supplies/devices

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills-you know how to work with clinicians, administrators, and vendors

- Bonus (but not required): exposure to procurement, Excel, Tableau, or category management

Details:

- Location: Central / South Singapore

- Work schedule: 5-day work week
- Salary stated in this job posting may include the calculation of bonuses on an annualised basis

This is for you if:

You're ready to trade scrubs for strategy-without leaving shift work and hands on caring behind. You want to reduce waste, improve supply reliability, and help your organisation make better product decisions, all while building a new career chapter in procurement.

Your clinical training got you here. Now let it take you further.
