We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join us and lead end-to-end tendering, negotiations, and supplier management across complex data centre construction projects across APAC!
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end tendering process for projects, strictly complying with tender requirements while ensuring procurement quality and cost control;
- Lead negotiations on engineering variation and dispute matters by clarifying key issues, gathering supporting evidence, and providing procurement support to mitigate cost risks;
- Coordinate project execution by managing supplier resources, tracking delivery progress, and closing issues to ensure smooth project advancement;
- Travel to project locations (in Malaysia and Thailand) as required to manage and coordinate with local suppliers;
- Establish and maintain comprehensive procurement and contract execution records, consolidate data, and prepare analytical reports to support strategy optimization and decision-making.
Requirements
- 810 years of experience in engineering procurement with strong hands-on, end-to-end procurement capabilities;
- Proven procurement experience in civil works and M&E works for real estate, industrial, or commercial complex projects, with a solid understanding of procurement priorities;
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, able to efficiently handle variation and dispute discussions;
- Excellent coordination and cross-functional / cross-regional communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently;
- Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering disciplines;
- Strong communication skills to independently lead negotiations and coordination with contractors.
