Senior Procurement Executive

Job Responsibilities

• Take lead ownership of high-volume or complex regional markets, optimizing buffer stocks and lead-time calculations.
• Independently troubleshoot significant logistics disruptions (e.g., major vessel delays or supplier quality issues) before escalating to management.
• Analyze procurement trends and freight costs to recommend cost-saving opportunities or more efficient shipping routes.
• Assist with the logistical flow for direct container sales, managing the end-to-end process from booking to accounts receivable coordination.
• Maintain specialized procurement dashboards or trackers to improve the department's visibility into supply chain KPIs.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years in a similar role. Experience managing regional/global markets would be advantageous.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business.
• Knowledge of Import/Export regulations for specific regions. Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong English proficiency in both writing and speaking, enabling clear communication with global stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask, highly organise and able to meet deadline
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
