Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate and qualify suppliers for parts (off-the-shelf, fabricated, and electrical/ electronic) and services
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans
- Place and manage purchase orders
- Maintain accurate and timely procurement data in ERP system
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal policies and controls
Strategic Supply Chain Management
- Drive supply chain initiatives, such as cost reduction, multi-sourcing, and inventory planning
- Continually analyze market trends and supply risks; develop mitigation strategies accordingly
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical/ Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Materials)
- 2+ years of relevant experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within semiconductor equipment, precision manufacturing or high-tech industries
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
