The Job: -
- To operate assigned units of HDPE plant to produce on-specification products to meet production goals according to plant operations procedures.
- To operate the sophisticated computer control system, process logical control, etc. to optimize plant operation.
- Interprets laboratory results, taking corrective actions according to the plant operating manuals, coordinatewith other departments on plant sampling for laboratory analyses, and Materials Handling on product transfer.
- Oversees Permit-To-Work System at various work stages (Gas-freeing / planning / coordination / preparation / execution) of process equipment and issues clearance certificates (work permits) for maintenance work in accordance with established procedures.
- To work on rotating shift (2 cycle).
- Able to handle load up of approximately 25kg if needed.
- Able to work from heights.
Qualification/Experience: -
- Diploma / NTC 2 in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent
- GCE O level, preferable with credits in English, Science (Physics or Chemistry) and Mathematics
- Experience in petrochemicals process manufacturing facility is an added advantage.
