Duties and Responsibilities
Review and coordinate process engineering design for water treatment, wastewater treatment and desalination systems, working closely with technology partners and solution providers.
Review mass balance, hydraulic profiles, P&IDs, equipment sizing calculations and control philosophy, ensuring technical adequacy, compliance and integration with overall project requirements.
Coordinate with MEICA engineers, modular system suppliers and fabricators to ensure proper interface between process, mechanical, electrical and control systems.
Support project execution including: Technical submission to clients Design review meetings Vendor coordination Site technical support Testing & Commissioning (T&C)
Support preparation of technical proposals and quotations, including basic process design inputs, review of CAPEX/OPEX assumptions, and technical clarifications.
Manage client technical communication, respond to queries, and represent the company in design discussions and coordination meetings.
Qualification and other Requirements
Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering
5-8 years experience in water / wastewater / desalination projects.
Good understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes (e.g. coagulation, filtration, UF/RO, AOP), with ability to review and interpret process design prepared by others.
Experience in modular or containerised treatment systems preferred.
Experience in project execution, vendor coordination and site commissioning.
Strong coordination and communication skills able to manage multiple stakeholders including clients, vendors and internal teams.
Independent, proactive and able to manage technical matters with minimal supervision.
