Our client is a leading semiconductor manufacturing facility in Singapore and we are looking for an experienced Process Manager to oversee Diffusion and CMP process operations within a high-volume wafer fabrication environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, highly automated manufacturing setting and is passionate about driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve and exceed manufacturing performance targets (yield, OEE, cost, cycle time, quality).
- Ensure stable and efficient production through robust process control, high equipment availability, and standardized operating procedures.
- Drive defect reduction, cost optimization, and throughput improvement initiatives.
- Lead process control methodologies including SPC, FMEA, DOE, and statistical data analysis.
- Manage recipe control, process documentation, and capability reporting.
- Oversee process setup, qualification, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance yield, quality, and productivity.
- Lead change management activities and participate in cross-functional review meetings.
- Champion continuous improvement programs and lean initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols, fab audits, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Forecast and manage departmental budgets including test wafers and process-related expenditures.
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Engineers and Associate Engineers.
- Conduct performance appraisals and support structured career development planning.
- Facilitate regular team engagement sessions to strengthen communication and morale.
- Provide technical guidance and training to enhance team competency and effectiveness.
Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 10 years of semiconductor wafer fabrication experience, with hands-on expertise in Diffusion and/or Oxide CMP processes.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and process integration.
- Demonstrated experience in statistical process control and yield improvement initiatives.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a fab environment is advantageous.
