Due to a constant growth, PQE is looking for an Senior Process Engineer to support our project in Singapore.
You will be responsible for:
- Executing the design and implementation of pharmaceutical and biotech facilities according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and relevant technical regulations, adhering to both international and local guidelines.
- Supporting installation and commissioning (C&Q) activities for process equipment and utilities.
- Managing the technical alignment and tabulation of bids for tender packages, ensuring proper documentation for order placement.
- Producing detailed technical documents, including but not limited to: layouts, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Mass and Energy Balances, User Requirements Specifications (URS), Equipment and fluid lists, Technical specifications, and material requisitions for tender packages.
- Overseeing vendor progress for delivery, installation, and erection activities, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Engaging in intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary design reviews, ensuring all design aspects are comprehensively evaluated and aligned.
About you:
- At least 5-7 years of experience as a Process Engineer.
- Mandatory experience in pharma/biotech sector or in pharma/biotech projects.
- Direct experience in upstream biotech processes.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and qualification (C&Q) of process equipment and utilities.
- Knowledge of GMPs and main pharmaceutical standards and rules.
- Knowledge of process control and P&IDs standard settings and ISA standard symbols.
- Knowledge of safety rules for equipment/plant design and attention to health and safety practices within the working environment.
- Knowledge of packaging lines is a plus.
- Experience in the use of software tools such as Office, Visio, AutoCAD.
- Ability to successfully interface directly with client personnel and vendors.
- Fluency in English is a must.
- Availability to travel.
