Senior Process Engineer

Our client, a famous EPC firm , has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Senior Process Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process design basis, philosophies, and system concepts for biopharma and life sciences projects.
• Prepare and review detailed process design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, system layouts, mass balances, and equipment specifications.
• Define system architecture for clean utilities (e.g., WFI, PW, clean steam), process systems, and supporting infrastructure.
• Drive technical design decisions and ensure alignment with client requirements, GMP standards, and industry best practices.
• Conduct and lead process safety reviews, including HAZOP, risk assessments, and design compliance checks.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of process design with mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines.
• Review and approve vendor designs and technical submissions to ensure compliance with design intent and specifications.
• Support project execution phases, including commissioning, qualification, and system handover, ensuring design integrity is maintained.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables to ensure quality and consistency in design output.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical, Process, or Environmental Engineering; relevant certifications will be an advantage.
• At least 6–8 years of relevant experience in process engineering, preferably within biopharma, pharmaceutical, or life sciences projects.
• Experience in the design and/or construction of systems such as ultrapure water (UPW), clean utilities, wastewater, chemical, or gas systems.
• Good understanding of international engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with engineering design tools and software relevant to process design.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills in a project environment.

• Location: West
• Working days: 5 days
• Salary: S$9,000 and AWS (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
