Senior Private Nurse

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and discreet Senior Private Nurse to oversee the health, medical care and overall well-being of a key stakeholder. This role combines personalised nursing care, preventive health management and overseas travel support.

The successful candidate should be clinically confident, calm under pressure and capable of providing attentive care across home, workplace and travel environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage an individualised healthcare and wellness plan based on the stakeholder's medical needs and lifestyle.
• Perform regular health monitoring, including blood glucose, blood pressure, vital signs and other relevant medical assessments.
• Provide day-to-day nursing care, medication support and appropriate clinical procedures when required.
• Offer practical guidance on nutrition, lifestyle habits and preventive healthcare within the appropriate professional scope.
• Coordinate medical consultations, health screenings and follow-up care with doctors, specialists and other healthcare providers.
• Accompany the stakeholder on business and personal travel, ensuring continuity of medical and physical care throughout each trip.
• Prepare medications, medical supplies and emergency response plans ahead of travel.
• Respond promptly and professionally to medical emergencies, including arranging further treatment or evacuation when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records while exercising a high level of discretion at all times.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing or an equivalent recognised healthcare qualification.
• At least 10 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably involving private, emergency, critical or high-dependency care.
• Prior experience as a Paramedic or in emergency medical services will be highly advantageous.
• Strong clinical knowledge of core nursing practices, emergency response, patient monitoring and specialised medical procedures.
• Sound judgement and the ability to remain calm and decisive during urgent medical situations.
• Service-oriented, attentive and comfortable providing dedicated one-to-one care.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality and sensitivity when handling personal medical information.
• Flexible with working arrangements and willing to travel frequently, including overseas and at short notice.
