Senior Presales Solution Architect
We are seeking a Senior Presales Solution Architect with expertise in psychometric assessments and a strong academic foundation in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (Master's required). This role is central to shaping talent solutions for clients by combining deep scientific knowledge with practical technology application. You'll act as a key strategic advisor to global HR leaders, helping them navigate complex challenges across talent acquisition, development, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
Client Discovery & Strategic Insight
- Lead discovery sessions to understand clients HR challenges, workforce goals, and human capital strategies-regionally and globally.
- Analyze existing HR processes, systems, data architecture, and stakeholder goals, with a view toward discovering value based differentiation
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Commercial, Deployment, Professional Services) before and after discovery to ensure full alignment and readiness.
Solution Design & Platform Mapping
- Translate client needs into tailored solutions using SHL's product suite, platforms and services.
- Coordinate with product and technical teams to explore roadmap alignment and address advanced solution requirements.
- Assess client-specific customization needs and evaluate feasibility within platform capabilities and roadmaps.
- Aim to design workarounds that avoid excessive complexity or cost, balancing innovation with scalability and sustainability.
- Create initial mockups, solution flows, or live demos that resonate with each client's talent requirements
- Present solution architecture with a focus on seamless integration, change management, and the robustness of SHL's deployment framework.
Commercial Structuring & Value Articulation
- Support complex pricing configurations and co-develop proposalswith the Sales Leads and KAMs, covering implementation, and customization.
- Articulate and demonstrate compelling value propositions and ROI story based on improved talent metrics, operational efficiency, and cost savings.
Qualifications
- Master's in Industrial-Organizational Psychology (required).
- 5-8+ years in presales, solution consulting, or assessment design in HR tech or psychometrics.
- Strong expertise in psychometric principles and their practical application.
- Proven experience influencing senior HR and Talent stakeholders through consultative engagements.
- Deep knowledge of the talent lifecycle, from acquisition to succession planning.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
