Senior/ Platform Developer (JAVA, Microservices) - Permanent

. Responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of digital Business Process Management platform.

. Gather requirements from customer, perform technical impact analysis and estimate effort for development.

. Develop and/or modify the applications according to the requirements, conduct peer source code review if necessary

. Perform unit test, support system integration test and user acceptance test

. Prepare release procedure and support production implementation

. Update user manual, system operational manual and other necessary deliverables.

. Troubleshoot issues and problems, provide workarounds where necessary. Perform root cause analysis and come up with preventive measures.

. Review offshore s deliverables like FSD, TSD to ensure the design is with quality and follow platform standards.

. Perform code review to detect potential coding problems.

. Review Release procedure and support system release activities.

Job Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent fields.

. Solid experience in software development using Java and SQL.

. Any relevant certifications on Java or Azure development.

. Experience in working with outsource development.

. Experience in working in a complex matrix organization.

. Good knowledge in SDLC methodologies (waterfall).

. Good presentation, communication and coordination skills.

. Can contribute individually and collaborate well in a team.

. Strong sense of accountability and ownership and respond with speed and flexibility.
