The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for the planning, scheduling, development of sub-programs/ tracking programs for construction operations.
Description
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- Baseline programme/master programme preparation
- Tender programme preparation
- Recovery/catch up programme preparation
- 3 months look ahead programme preparation
- 4 weeks rolling programme preparation
- Monthly progress report preparation
- Weekly progress report preparation and presentation to internal teams and client
- Weekly site visit for actual progress/resources recording is compulsory
- Time impact analysis/programme risk analysis preparation
- Supporting to contract team for claim issues.
- CIP (Coordinated Installation Programme) Preparation
- Gathering project information and coordination within team.
Value Add of Position
- Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team / department.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in building (commercial) / civil (LTA) project
Technical Competencies
- Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural and Civil works
- Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
- Proficient with planning and scheduling techniques.
