Job Purpose
The Senior Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling integrated project schedules for FPSO projects across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and offshore execution phases. The role ensures schedule integrity, timely progress measurement, and accurate forecasting to support effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Level 35 integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and sail-away for FPSO projects.
- Interface closely with engineering, procurement, construction, marine, and commissioning teams to gather inputs and validate schedule logic.
- Establish schedule baselines, milestones, critical paths, and float analysis in alignment with project execution strategy.
- Perform schedule risk analysis, impact analysis, and what-if scenarios to support management decision-making.
- Monitor project progress, assess deviations, and prepare schedule recovery plans where required.
- Prepare and issue weekly and monthly planning reports, including progress curves, look-ahead schedules, and critical activities.
- Support change management by assessing schedule impacts arising from variations, claims, or scope changes.
- Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures, client requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior planners where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 812 years of planning experience in oil & gas projects, with direct FPSO exposure preferred.
- Proven experience in engineering, EPC, or EPCIC FPSO projects.
- Strong understanding of offshore execution sequencing, module integration, and commissioning logic.
