Your impact

Our Life Sciences business is hiring a Senior Piping Designer. This is a fixed-term 6 months to be based at Singapore office.

Main duties

  • Develop layouts for process piping, utility piping, chemical, and utility systems.
  • Review isometric drawings, layouts, and technical submissions.
  • Engineering coordination work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Participate in model review with project team.
  • Resolve design clashes and site-related piping issues.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors on piping materials and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and Singapore regulations.
  • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
  • Working with Global Delivery Team in other Jacobs office(s).

Here's what you'll need

To be a successful candidate, you shall possess

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering
  • Experience in pharmaceutical projects with an engineering consulting company
  • Fluency in Auto CAD, MicroStation, 3D Environment Plant 3D, SP3D.
  • Hands-on experience in Design Review Software Smart Review/Navisworks.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Raster Design
  • Knowledge of various International Standards, such as ASME, ASTM, API, BS.
  • Knowledge of 3D model applications like Smart Plant 3D will be an advantage
  • Ability to be deployed to the project site, when required
