Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Leading private Pilates classes (solo/duet/trio)
- Planning and structuring safe, effective and enjoyable Pilates classes for each assigned client.
- Providing modifications and progressive workouts or rehab for clients with varying needs and goals
- Maintaining positive and encouraging teaching style and thus value adding class experience.
- Strong sense of accountability and commitment
Secondary Responsibilities
- Basic opening and closing of the studio in orderly and timely manner.
- Using in-house system to check in clients and reviewing scheduled classes.
- General maintenance and care for studio equipment and cleanliness of studio.
- Team player, coordinating and cooperating with fellow instructor colleagues and front of house.
Requirements:
- Fully Certified Pilates instructor with a minimum of 3-5 years of teaching experience
- Must be fully trained with at least three years teaching private sessions
- Good knowledge of human anatomy and muscle engagement
- Additional certification in Pre/Post-Natal, Rehab is preferred
- Familiar with all Pilates apparatus
- Certified to teach all forms of Pilates (Including cadillac, chair, barrel and reformer)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be added advantage
- Fluent in English and a second language will be preferred
- Resides in Singapore
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Freelance
Salary: Salary commensurates with experience
$3,500.00 - $9,000.00 per month or hourly rated
Schedule:Flexible hours
- able to work evenings, early mornings, weekends and public holidays
- able to work a minimum of 25 hours per week is highly preferred
Work Location: Holland Village/ Tanjong Pagar
