Job Description
About Work Lift Balance
We treat the whole person, not just the painful part, and we are education-first: clients leave understanding why they hurt and what to do about it.
Our work is built on STACK (Align, Attune, Adapt), a framework that links pain education, movement, recovery and mindset.
The Opportunity
Physiotherapists at WLB are coaches. You know pain and pathology well, and you are just as comfortable teaching a client as you are assessing one.
You think independently and critically, take problems that are poorly specified, and find the best solution with a high degree of autonomy.
You lead with empathy and do what is best for the client. You are always looking for better, evidence-informed ways to solve problems.
You will report to the Lead Physiotherapist and work closely with our Movement Specialists, who carry clients forward after your assessment and foundation work.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Clinical care
- Conduct comprehensive pain and movement assessments
- Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, with a primary focus on the pain and movement reasoning model
- Teach Pain Neuroscience Education so clients understand their pain and feel in control of their recovery
- Take part in discovery calls and set the right context and expectations for new clients, guiding first-time clients to the right pathway
- Keep accurate, up-to-date client records in Cliniko, in line with professional, legal and confidentiality standards
Team and service development
- Work with Movement Specialists on a smooth hand-off from assessment to progressive loading and long-term sustainment
- Help develop and follow SOPs for clinical procedures and risk management, including keeping clients safe in crisis situations
- Build specialised clinical care pathways in line with current evidence
- Give and receive feedback and peer supervision
- Contribute to team meetings, service improvement and our weekly and quarterly cadences
- Contribute to our education-first content (articles, talks, workshops, client resources)
- Keep learning through continuing education and professional development
Key Skills and Experience
- BSc Physiotherapy with Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Physiotherapist in Singapore
- At least 2 years of musculoskeletal physiotherapy experience, from acute to chronic pain
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based care with a focus on movement as medicine
- Comfort with pain science and a biopsychosocial approach to care
- Strong communication and coaching skills; you can teach, not just treat
- Self-directed, with sound clinical reasoning and a collaborative attitude
Compensation
Base salary + incentive structure.
