Job Description:
- Contribute to the team's business needs with strong functional expertise on Payment Processing platform for International Payments, Real Time Payments, Cash & Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML, FX, Messaging (Swift and ISO), clearing and settlement mechanisms.
- Provide expertise on Corporate Payments, Correspondent Banking and Indirect Participants Banking.
- Understanding the BRD and conducting requirement gathering by various means like brainstorming, workshops, Questionnaire and working with different stakeholders of the cash management team like Product Managers (Global as well as In-Country), Client Services, Implementation, Operations and Finance in the context of Payment Engine.
- Mapping the identified functional requirements to payment engine and defining a solution with the help of it to fulfill the payment processing.
- Analyze the Business Requirements and synthesize those into Functional Requirements, and document those in standard project documents/artifacts.
- Do Fit-Gap Analysis of the Business Requirements and design solutions in payment engine to minimize the Gaps and use the payment engine capabilities to address the requirements.
- Provide Defect Triage analysis of the issue raised by Quality Assurance team and work towards fixing of the issues in the system.
- Identifying the scope of the requirements, validating the requirements in the context of Payment platform and end-to-end Cash Management ecosystem.
Perform level 3 Support of applications in production:
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
- Support in the recovery management in case of production incidents with great level of agility due to the criticality of payment systems and business
- Prepare SOPs and provide user trainings, whenever required.
Requirements:
- At least 10+ years of hands-on experience in payment systems and good understanding of payments domain.
- Strong knowledge on Domestic payment systems (RTGS like RITS,FISC,CHATS and MEPS) and Cross-border payments (MT and MX - CBPR+).
- Strong working knowledge of ISO20022 Standards and Swift Rulebook updates including message formats, validation rules, and compliance requirements.
- Good understanding of overall end-to-end cash management ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience in Payment Engine Implementations - In house payment engine or vendor payment systems.
- Work on complex systems and a challenging international work environment.
- Knowledge of all phases of IT system development and implementation life cycle.
- Highly analytical and detail oriented in approach with excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience converting highly complex information into clear, concise documentation.

- Hold a Bachelor's /Master's degree from a reputable university, and whilst not essential, subjects including computer science, electronics are a plus.
