Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Operations Executive to oversee and manage warehouse and logistics operations at a client site. The role is responsible for leading on-site teams, managing operational performance, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and maintaining strong working relationships with customers.

The successful candidate will ensure efficient day-to-day operations while upholding quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Performance Management

  • Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory control, and distribution activities

  • Monitor and ensure operational KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met

  • Plan, organise, and control daily operations to support service delivery requirements

  • Develop and implement action plans to address performance gaps and operational issues

  • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Team Leadership & Manpower Planning

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the warehouse operations team

  • Plan and manage manpower deployment and scheduling to support operational needs

  • Provide guidance and on-the-job coaching to enhance team skills and operational knowledge

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers and key stakeholders

  • Prepare and present operational updates, performance reports, and KPI summaries to customers

  • Act as the main point of contact for operational matters at the client site

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company quality policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions

  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements

  • Review work procedures regularly to support safety, quality, and operational efficiency

  • Track safety data and incidents for KPI and compliance reporting

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain incident tracking and outbound discrepancy records

  • Prepare and update monthly KPI, safety, and operational reports for customers and management

  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and system updates

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, logistics management, or account/site management

  • Prior experience managing client-site operations is an advantage

  • Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills

  • Familiarity with operational KPIs, SLAs, inventory control, and warehouse processes

  • Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Experience in KPI reporting, performance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Proficient in reporting tools and operational systems
