As we expand our operations and presence in new markets, we are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Operations and Logistics Manager to lead our growth initiatives.
The Senior Operations & Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end importation and distribution processes of Mexican products. This role requires strong expertise in supply chain management, import and export regulations, and logistics optimization. The ideal candidate will combine operational excellence with cultural awareness of Mexican products and international trace practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversea the entire importation process of Mexican products, from supplier coordination to custom clearance and final delivery.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, custom requirements and food safety standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, custom brokers and logistics providers.
- Manage inventory control, warehousing and distribution processes.
- Optimize transportation routes, shipping methods and costs.
- Implement best practices in supply chain efficiency, sustainability and risk management.
- Build strong relationships with Mexican suppliers to ensure quality, timely deliveries and compliance with export requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, shipping terms and pricing agreements,
- Develop and implement SOPs for logistics, warehousing and distribution.
- Monitor KPIs and continuously improve processes to reduce costs and enhance satisfaction.
- Need to work on weekends and some public holidays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Prefer candidate with at least 8years of experience managing logistic team.
- Strong analytical thinking with data driven decision-making approach.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is highly desirable.
