Transformation & Continuous Improvement Leadership

- Identify structural improvement opportunities across multimodal freight flows
- Conduct deepdive analysis to identify strategic improvement opportunities in supply chain flows
- Develop and execute a multi-quarter transformation and improvement roadmap
- Institutionalize sustainable governance frameworks for performance management
- Quantify and track value realization (cost optimization, service improvement, risk reduction, predictability)

Commercial Value Creation & Account Growth Support

- Translate operational insights into quantified value cases and business impact narratives
- Support account strategy, renewal discussions, and scope expansion initiatives
- Identify opportunities for automation, service enhancement, and operational optimization
- Strengthen value storytelling to reinforce strategic partnership positioning
- Contribute directly to revenue protection and growth within the account

Executive Stakeholder Ownership

- Own governance cadence and executive reporting toward customer leadership
- Prepare and deliver strategic business reviews and transformation updates
- Elevate discussions beyond KPI reporting to forward-looking performance strategy
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior supply chain and procurement stakeholders
- Proactively identify systemic risks and long-term mitigation strategies

Innovation & Digital Enablement

- Drive adoption of automation, analytics, and workflow optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with digital and IT teams to design scalable, forward-looking solutions
- Lead innovation pilots and structured rollout programs
- Ensure alignment between operational capabilities and the customer's evolving digital roadmap

Strategic Alignment with Control Tower Leadership

- Operate as strategic peer to the Control Tower Head
- Ensure improvement initiatives are embedded into operational execution
- Maintain clear separation between transactional issue management and structural optimization
- Act as escalation point for systemic performance themes and strategic risks

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or above in business/freight forwarding or related disciplines
- Minimum 8 years of operational working experience in global forwarding / logistics company
- Self-motivated and ability to use own initiative, with the ability to work without supervision
- Well-developed time management skills - ability to work to deadlines and with timetables. Multitasking is essential
- Project management of initiatives where required
- The ability to seek opportunities for synergy and integration
- Business acumen - analyzing financial information, dealing with complexity, problem solving and using sound judgment
- Identifying critical operational or other issues and recommending solutions
- Ability to continuously review / refine processes to achieve the optimal solution
- High level of integrity and professional working standards
- International mindset, presentable and articulate, able to work under pressure, high level of attention to details, result-oriented and customer-focused
