Work with the team on the following day-to-day processes and routine work:
Review account opening documents of both individual and entity for trading in Futures & Options and Security products.
Conduct periodic Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews of existing clients, perform enhanced due diligence, and ensure overall compliance with procedural standards.
Perform necessary screenings - Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media/ Negative News screening.
Perform account maintenance by ensuring any update of particulars request are promptly updated.
Advise and coordinate with Front Office on the CDD requirements by identifying gaps in the CDD documentation.
Assist in maintenance of database for annual Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) reporting and Common Reporting Standards (CRS) reporting.
Continuously review and improve the onboarding workflow and process as well as update the Policy &Procedure Manuals (PPM) accordingly.
Handle external and internal inspections and audits.
Client data management.
Involve in Account Management team's system-related and automation projects.
Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Banking/Finance/Business Management
3-5years of experience in Client Onboarding
Have solid understanding of requirements under MAS Notice SFA04-N02 - Prevention of Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism - Capital Markets Intermediaries.
Familiar with FATCA/CRS requirements
Understanding of requirements under MAS Notice on AML/KYC/CDD
