PURPOSE:
- Responsible for the commercial success and market positioning of FUJIFILM Business Innovation's (FB) Device Technology (DT) portfolio across the Asia Pacific (AP) region.
- Lead the business strategy for key product launches (e.g, Kouka, Sorai2) and act as the primary strategic budget between AP regional subsidiaries and FB Japan's R&D and Business Strategy teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
1. Strategic Market Planning & Launch Excellence
- Go-To-Market (GTM) Leadership: Design and execute comprehensive GTM strategies for new hardware and integrated software solutions.
- Regional Strategy: Transform high-level business goals into actionable regional roadmaps, ensuring products are localized for the diverse AP market.
- Lifecycle Management: Monitor product performance throughout its lifecycle, identifying opportunities for expansion, refreshment, or sunsetting.
2. Market Intelligence & Product Advocacy
- Voice of Customer (VoC): Serve as the regional expert on customer requirements, translating market gaps into product feature requests for FB Japan R&D teams.
- Competitive Analysis: Lead deep-dive competitive benchmarking on pricing, features, and solution value add to maintain a dominant market position.
3. Commercial Strategy & Profitability
- Pricing & Value Chain: Orchestrate regional pricing structures and profitability simulations. Optimize the value chain to ensure competitive TPs (Transfer Prices) and healthy margins for subsidiaries.
- Sales Enablement: Develop high-impact marketing collaterals, technical whitepapers, and sales training programs that simplify complex DT features into value-added business benefits.
- Business Expansion: Support the DT team in identifying new vertical markets and driving overall business expansion across the AP region.
4. Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Stakeholder Management: Influence senior leadership in FB Japan and AP subsidiaries to align on business targets and operational processes.
- Process Optimization: Building and refining support schemes and operational workflows for subsidiaries to ensure seamless product adoption and technical support.
Skills and Abilities
- Prior experience in sales or marketing for B2B products.
- Basic understanding of Product life cycle management - Product launch process, managing switching schedule, finalizing end of life.
- Project management skills to create blueprints including key deliverables, cost inputs and setting milestone to complete the project within set parameters.
- Prior experience in the ICT or Printer industry and well-versed with technological terms will be highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and business planning experience.
- Ability to further conduct and cascade regional trainings on marketing and sales strategy to the subsidiaries sales and marketing teams.
- Able to independently implement the activities with the guidance from senior management.
- Team player works well with cross functional business divisions.
- Communication and negotiation skills - Positive attitude, sense of ownership, logical thinking
- Occasional travel required.
- Ability to converse in Japanese (min. JLPT N1) preferred to facilitate collaboration with Japan FB teams.
