Senior / Occupational Therapist

Job Description

• Developing treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goals in Inpatient setting.
• Assessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independence.
• To provide activities of daily living (ADL) training for the inpatients.
• Liaising with doctors, family members, caregivers and other professionals and keeping them updated
• To keep abreast with advances in the profession and to contribute to the development of the department
• Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
• Conduct group therapy

Requirements:

• Recognised Bachelor's Degree Occupational Therapy
• Enjoy working with elderly patients, especially patients with neurological and musculoskeletal problems
• Pleasant and cheerful disposition
• Possess valid practising certificate with AHPC or have passed the Qualifying Examination by NYP
• Dynamic personality, is proactive, customer oriented, and with good public relation and communication skills
• Service mind-set, result-oriented and team player
