Develop nursing team through provision of leadership and support
Review nursing manpower in relation to skills mix and clinical needs
Daily operational management of the team and implement nursing policies e.g health and safety
Conduct regular caseload profiling and contribute to community health needs assessment
Demonstrate highly developed clinical nursing skills and act as clinical advisor and educator to team
Responsible for the planning, execution and evaluation of training and induction programmes, in line with organisation's objective in staff training
Make nursing diagnosis, plan, implement and evaluate nursing interventions to meet agreed needs with patients and carers
Assist patients towards self-care and rehabilitative through the provision of therapeutic, compensatory, educative, facultative, rehabiltative, advocacy and supportive clinical patient care
Ensure quality of care is maintained through regular supervision and audits
Facilitate and manage the wards efficiently with professional and high quality care
Requirements
Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
Degree / Diploma in Nursing
Post basic / Advanced Diploma in Nursing specialty
Preferably more than 3 years in the role of Nurse Manager of acute care hospital
Demonstrable experience of leading and managing change, people and projects
Good understanding of principles and practices to deliver reliable and safe services
Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
