The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Singtel IT network infrastructure supporting AI platforms across data centres, enterprise networks, and hybrid cloud environments. The primary objective is to deliver secure, reliable, high-throughput, and low-latency network connectivity for AI/ML workloads, including GPU/CPU clusters and Singtel Central AI Kitchen. This role ensures seamless integration with existing enterprise networks while aligning network architecture with business requirements, enterprise standards, and technology infrastructure objectives.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Design end-to-end network architecture for AIDA GPU/CPU infrastructure and Singtel Central AI Kitchen, ensuring high throughput, low latency, scalability, resiliency and security.
• Develop High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), network topology and connectivity diagrams.
• Implement and integrate AI infrastructure networks with existing enterprise environments to enable secure connectivity for users and applications.
• Design, configure and manage enterprise and data centre networks, including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Troubleshoot complex network connectivity issues and optimize network performance for AI/ML training and inference workloads.
• Leverage network automation and AI-driven management platforms for anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, predictive monitoring and network optimization.
• Implement network segmentation, Zero Trust principles and appropriate firewall and access control measures in collaboration with Network Security and InfoSec teams.
• Collaborate with AI platform, Data Science, Compute/Storage, DevOps and Infrastructure teams to define requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
• Support infrastructure changes, technology refreshes, migrations, testing and post-implementation validation in accordance with engineering and operational standards.
• Maintain technical documentation, identify network risks, implement mitigation measures and ensure proper knowledge transfer to Network Operations teams.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience in network engineering, architecture, implementation or infrastructure operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise and data centre network architecture, design, implementation and operations.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN/VXLAN, routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN and high-availability design.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, network segmentation, Zero Trust and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience designing networks for GPU/CPU infrastructure, AI/ML workloads, high-performance computing or high-throughput environments is highly desirable.
• Experience with network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, Terraform and Git, with an understanding of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Experience with AI-driven network management and assurance platforms such as Cisco Catalyst Center, Mist AI or equivalent.
• Relevant professional certifications in networking and security, such as Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet or F5.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects, vendors and cross-functional stakeholders, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commitment to service quality, timely resolution and continuous improvement.
