Senior Network Engineer

Role

The Network Engineer is responsible for the administration, maintenance and support of enterprise network and security infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain HPE Aruba and HPE ToR switch environments.

• Configure and manage VLANs, trunking, switching and connectivity services.

• Perform proactive monitoring, maintenance and network health checks.

• Support network upgrades and lifecycle activities.

• Administer and monitor Check Point firewall environments.

• Manage firewall policies, ACLs, NAT configurations and security rules.

• Troubleshoot network and firewall-related incidents.

• Configure and maintain switches supporting rack connectivity.

• Troubleshoot network and storage-layer connectivity issues.

• Manage platform incidents, changes, service requests and root cause analyses.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.

• Implement CIS hardening standards and security best practices.

• Support audit and compliance requirements.

• Utilize Ansible automation to improve operational efficiency.

• Drive standardization and process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant network infrastructure experience.

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network and firewall environments.

• Experience with Aruba networking and Check Point technologies.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to independently manage operational activities.
