Job Description
Senior Network Engineer / Network Switch Migration Engineer
Location: Singapore
Employment: Contract
We are hiring a Senior Network Engineer /Network Switch Migration Engineer with strong hands-on experience in network infrastructure, switch migration, configuration, and security hardening.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute enterprise network switch migration activities.
Review network architecture, migration requirements, hardware/software compatibility, and dependencies.
Configure and upgrade network switches and firmware/OS.
Implement network security hardening and compliance standards.
Configure SNMP, Syslog, NetFlow/sFlow and monitoring/alerting.
Perform pre- and post-migration health checks, connectivity testing, and troubleshooting.
Manage configuration backups, rollback plans, and migration documentation.
Coordinate with Security, Server, Application, and Operations teams.
Provide post-migration support, optimization, and knowledge transfer.
Prepare release-readiness and migration documentation.
